The activities provide the clients with meaningful ways and possibilities for social interaction, acquiring practical skills, developing their artistic or other creative inclinations when expressing themselves, getting away from the everyday routines and stress, building up their strength and for recreation in their freetime.
aims at assisting clients suffering from an illness, disability, aging or other factors weakening their functional capacity, to develop and to use their freetime to promote their health, independence and well-being. A wide range of meaningful activities is used to increase the clients´ initiative and activity, to practise their motoric and psychosocial skills and to enhance their self-esteem. The aim is either maintaining their functional capacity or rehabilitation in order to enable more independence and to reduce the disadvantages caused by the illness or disability.
for the graduates from the degree programme of crafts leading and recreational activities are good in the public sector of culture and education and in the field of social and health care. They can also be employed by various institutions and organizations or become self-employed.
