How to make a felted soap

Felted soap is a nice gift and very easy to make.  You will only need some wool, a bar of soap and water. A felted soap doesn’t become slippery or slimy like a regular bar of soap. It will also softly peel the skin like a washing cloth.

1. Gather the materials: A bowl of hot water, wool and a bar of soap. You might also need a small towel.

2. Cover the bar of soap with the colors of wool you want to use. Make sure the whole bar is covered.

3. Start making the wool wet with hot water.

4. Then start rubbing and squeezing the bar of soap in your hands.

5. Continue until the wool has become really tight and firm over the bar.

6. When the wool has felted well, rinse the bar in cold water and dry it with a towel. Leave it to dry.
